I have never seen curiosity as belonging to one discipline.
Law taught me to examine arguments, obligations and consequences. Security taught me to study systems and question assumptions. Research gives me a way to connect those perspectives and ask what could be improved.
My professional path includes enterprise cybersecurity work at JPMorgan Chase and Costco, independent consulting, and technical teaching. Each experience has strengthened my belief that expertise matters most when it helps someone understand a problem and act with greater clarity.
StephSec is where I bring those threads together: the work, the questions, and the ideas I want to explore. I am adaptable, innovative and multifaceted. I AIM—to make a difference.
